Important Preparation Requirement (Research Use Only)

AOD-9604 requires the use of a mild acidic solvent system for proper laboratory solubility.

Research preparation protocol:
• Add 2 ml bacteriostatic water to the vial first.
• Allow the lyophilised peptide to fully dissolve.
• Once fully dissolved, add 0.5 ml of Acetic Acid 0.6% solution.

The bacteriostatic water must be added first to ensure complete initial hydration of the peptide matrix. The acetic acid component is introduced afterwards to achieve the correct solubility profile specific to AOD-9604.

Appearance After Mixing:
Following the addition of acetic acid, the solution will appear cloudy or slightly opalescent. This is a normal and expected physical characteristic of AOD-9604 in mildly acidic aqueous solution.

The cloudiness occurs due to peptide conformational behaviour and micro-particulate dispersion inherent to this compound. It does not indicate contamination or degradation when prepared correctly under laboratory conditions.
